SYNLAB launch Faecal Immunochemical Testing (FIT)

SYNLAB have announced the launch of Faecal Immunochemical Testing (FIT), a bowel / colorectal cancer screening test.

FIT is a more sensitive screening test which selectively detects the human globin-protein in stool, making it specific to colonic blood loss.
